McDonald’s makes some of the best fast food fries. Granted I do love Five Guys and In N Out fries too, but there is something to be said McDonalds tasty treats. According to DesignTaxi, the journey of the fries are as follows:
At the plant, the potatoes are washed, skinned and pushed through a cutting system that gives them their unique McDonald’s fry shape.
The fries are then blanched, dried and fried for 45 to 60 seconds—after which they will be frozen for shipping to McDonald’s restaurants.
Once the fries arrive at the restaurant, they are cooked in 100% vegetable oil, salted and served to customers.
